For
those with more time for safari, this is the
most popular camping safari running for 11 days/10
nights and featuring all of Kenya's popular
game parks and sanctuaries. The Safari starts
with the vast Tsavo West National Park, then
proceeds through the Shaitani Lava to Amboseli
National Park. You will then cross the country
through Kikuyu countryside to the lower slopes
of Mt. Kenya with an option of hiking to Mau
Mau Caves, very significant in Kenya's history.
The safari then proceeds further north across
the equator to Samburu National Reserve before
going to the floor of the Rift Valley - Lake
Nakuru National Park.
Like
most of our safaris, you end up at Maasai
Mara Game Reserve, Kenya's most visited game
reserve, where you will have the best opportunity
of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo,
rhino and elephant).

house and semi-permanent campsite in Maasai
mara with pre-set tents equipped with beds

Day
1: Nairobi/Tsavo West
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive along
Nairobi-Mombasa highway to Tsavo West National
Park arriving camp or Bandas in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drive including a visit to
Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight
at camp.
Approx Transit time: 5½ hrs

2: Amboseli
Depart in the morning after an early breakfast
to visit Mzima Springs then depart and drive
through "Shetani Lava Flows"to Amboseli
National Park, arriving camp in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drive. Meals and overnight
at camp.
Approx Transit time: 2½ hrs

3: Amboseli
Full day in Amboseli - the park famous for
its big game and great scenic beauty whose
entire landscape is dominated by Mt Kilimanjaro.
Morning and afternoon game drives.
All meals and overnight at camp.

4: Mt. Kenya
Depart Amboseli in the morning and drive via
Nairobi to the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya with
hot or picnic lunch en route. Afternnon optional
hiking to Mau Mau caves in Mt. Kenya Forest.
Dinner and overnight at camp.

5: Samburu
Depart in the morning and proceed north across
the equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving
camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive.

6: Samburu
Full day in Samburu, a beautiful and and game
abundant park, home to rarely found species
such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy's zebra, blue-necked
Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Morning
and afternoon game drives, with an optional
visit to a local Samburu village. All meals
and overnight at camp.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru
Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive to
the floor of the Rift Valley - to Lake Nakuru
Nat. Park with a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson
Falls. Hot or picnic lunch en route. Arrive
Lake Nakuru Park in time for an afternoon
game drive. Besides the flamingos that the
lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other
species of birds visiting the lake. Also,
many species of game can be found in the park
including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe,
black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck,
lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species
of plains game.
Dinner and overnight at the camp/guest house.

8:Maasai Mara
Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and drive
further along the floor of the Rift Valley
to Maasai Mara arriving camp in time for lunch.

9.Maasai Mara game reserve
Spend full day in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most
popular game sanctuary where you will have
the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five
(lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant).
On this day you will go out with picnic lunch
boxes to spend most of the day in the park
coming back to the camp at late afternoon,
Unlimited game drives.Accomodation at Masai
campsite.

Day 10:Full
day Maasai Mara walking adventure with local
masai people
This day you will be picked by 9am.You will
walk to the hill have picnic lunch walk to
the masai homestead for dancing,cultural exchange,dance

11: Nairobi
Depart Maasai Mara in the morning and drive
